The quickest and easiest way for you to make a claim is via the online claims service – All claims are managed by our principal company MB&G Insurance. Simply select the type of claim you wish to make, provide the information requested and submit the claim form. Once you have submitted the claim form, sit back and let MB&G do the work. They will let you know about the progress of your claim, and what you need to do next on a regular basis
In the event of a total loss, this policy will pay the greater of the difference between the insured value and the purchase price of your vehicle or the finance companies settlement figure.
The motor insurance excess up to £500 where it cannot be recovered from a liable third party.
A £30 per day, up to 30 days contribution towards a temporary replacement vehicle.
A successful claim under your motor insurance policy that does not relate to a total loss, this policy will reimburse the applicable excess up to a maximum aggregate of £500 per policy year.
Due to the nature of the policy, it can only be transferred in two events that are outlined in section 9 of your policy wording. However, if you sell your vehicle, you may be eligible for a refund.
Sure! If you have not made a successful claim, you can cancel your policy at any time, simply contact customercare@mycoverplan.co.uk including the following:
- Full name
- Policy number
- Cancellation date
- Vehicle Registration number
- The reason for cancellation.
If you wish to cancel within the first 30 days and have not made a successful claim on your policy, you will be entitled to a full refund of premium paid.
If you cancel after 30 days and have not made a successful claim on your policy, you will be entitled to a pro rata refund, based on the number of fully unexpired months remaining on your policy, minus a fixed amount of £35 to cover our costs incurred in relation to your cancelled policy.
